Giant's ToughRoad SLR 1 is an extremely versatile, take-anywhere rig that only stops when your imagination stops. The high-end ALUXX SLR-grade aluminum frame features a composite fork that damps road vibrations, a tall head tube for confident handling, and a low top-tube so you can comfortably dismount. With 20-speed SRAM components, Shimano disc brakes, and cushy 50mm-wide tires, the ToughRoad is ready for smooth pavement, undulating dirt roads, and anything else that stands between you and your destination. Slap some panniers on the included front and rear racks, take control with Giant’s Connect XC flat bars, and pedal off in your favorite direction.

I just rode this bike heavily packed on the Great a Divide Mountain Bike Route for 1000 miles. This bike totally held up to the challenge (with the slight exception of weak welded link of rear rack -easily fixed with zip ties). It took all the rough trails without complaints and no issues. I love the easy shifting and am looking forward to taking it home.
